To: freebsd-questions@freebsd.org From: Troy Curtiss Message-Id: Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk A while back I remember hearing some folks talking about the AMD combo Ethernet/SCSI chip. Well, low and behold, I just got an HP Vectra XU 5/90c stuck in front of me and it uses this magical chip and has a Matrox video card. Is there any hope of getting this machine to run FreeBSD? If not, are there some linux drivers that need porting over :) Cheers, -- /-----------------------------------------------------------\ | Troy Curtiss, HW/SW Engineer | Email: troyc@merix.com | | Merix Corporation, F8-208 | Phone: (503) 359-9300 x54500 | | Forest Grove, OR 97116 | Fax : (503) 359-1624 | \-----------------------------------------------------------/
