Hi all, I had installed vmware 2.x on my 4.5-RELEASE with bridged networking, but now that I have upgraded to 4.7-STABLE I seem to have problems setting up the bridge on the interface. I have noticed a slight change in /etc/sysctl.conf where in the old version I had the command sysctl in front of every value that I wanted to set, now the file should only contain the value right? anyways, when I do: sysctl net.link.ether.bridge_cfg=xl0:0,vmnet1:0 sysctl net.link.ether.bridge=1 my network connection just drops, I cant reach my router anymore. any changes in bridging? thanks, Ed. -- Edmond Baroud Fingerprint 140F 5FD5 3FDD 45D9 226D 9602 8C3D EAFB 4E19 BEF9 "UNIX is very user friendly, it's just picky about who its friends are."
