The problem is that Fedora doesn't support older rele= ases with security updates long enough. If we add a Fedora release to the ports tree then at some point it will have to be removed again and that never goes without complaints. Users of older versions of FreeBSD may not be able to update to a newer Fedora release because their kernel lacks new Linux featu= res that the new Fedora release needs. Or worse, there's no FreeBSD release th= at can run the new Fedora release. It happened with the f10 ports.
