Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org Precedence: bulk I have freebsd 2.1R and am having trouble porting MMDF to use name, and some other issues to do with inetd. My kernal is compiled with options "compat_43" My mmdf docs stats that 4.3bsd is not supported in their name server code at this point. So I guess my question is - is freebsd with this options parameter a 4.3 compat onyl type system? and if I remove that options line what is it? and will I wreak havoc? Or should I config mmdf to compile for a 4.2 and should it work? Im really gettin nuts with this - Ive been working on it for months.
