Grabbed directly from the FreeBSD 3.2 RELEASE Notes http://www.freebsd.org/releases/3.2R/notes.html : TCP Wrappers is now part of the base system. inetd, the port mapper, and sendmail are now linked agaist libwrap. The "PROCESS_OPTIONS" syntax is the default. Note that you do not need to use tcpd in /etc/inetd.conf. See `man 5 hosts_options' and `man 8 inetd` for more information. I really want to know how to enable this without to install the port, and without to use tdpd in /etc/inetd.conf, just like it says in the Release Notes of FreeBSD 3.2.
