I did not have that setting. Rebuilding databases/sqlite3 with that option
fixes the problem. I also see that that option is on by default, I'm not su=

why my build doesn't have it (My install is years old ...). It would be nic=
e if
the thunderbird build failed at build time when sqlite doesn't have the
necessary functionality compiled in, but I guess it doesn't affect a lot of
people.
