I have a chance to play with an HP PII-550 but it's one of those
everything on the board boxes...

Oh well.

Anyways, it does have a PCI Nic, Realtek 8139, which works fine under
Win98SE or Win2K, but for some reason does not under FreeBSD-Stable 4.4

In dmesg I get:

rl0: couldn't map ports/memory
device_probe_and_attach: rl0 attach returned 6

I checked the hardware list and this card is listed as supported.

The GENERIC kernel has rl in it. I did compile a custom kernel with lots
of SCSI and RAID stuff removed (and added sound) but the rl just doesn't
want to co-operate.

Did I miss something?

Thanks..

gf
