The CAM layer is issuing a series of messages for my Adaptec 2940 controller, a whole sequence of the form: (da0:ahc0:0:0:0): tagged openings now 38 (da0:ahc0:0:0:0): tagged openings now 37 (da0:ahc0:0:0:0): tagged openings now 36 ... and so on. The numbers count down and more are generated whenever there is a lot of disk activity. What the heck is going on here? Do I need to worry about this? I found the printf in the code, but the situation is unclear ... it looks like the printf started out being conditional on a "verbose" boot, but then a "|| 1" was added to the end of the condition, so it always comes out now.
