Ok, i386 image is 32-bit (I guess), so it wont work with 64-bit UEFI.

GFX mixup after kernel is loaded and started is another issue, perhaps fixe=

and device size) of that usb flash stick. You could test if you have latest
BIOS version, too - it may fix it.

Otherwise - when exactly does it crash - can you get to boot: propmpt (press
space when you see first spinner) or you do get crash before you even get to
loader itself?
