(Including information on the chipsets in question, from the manual, may help also.) Date: Monday, July 15, 1996 10:36AM Hi, I am attempting to install FreeBSD UNIX 2.1 from a CD-ROM to my Compaq DeskPro 6200 XL, which has embedded PCI-SCSI, and PCI-Ethernet adapters, manufactured by AMD. Apperently FreeBSD has no support (drivers) for the embeded AMD SCSI, and AMD Ethernet adapters. 1. Is it possible to use any of the existent drivers? 2. Is support for AMD adapters going to be included in the future, and if yes when? 3. Any suggestions, other than installing a different SCSI Adapter? Thanks, Alex
