Oh, about one or two years ago. Check out ports/java/jdk13. Granted, some things are still not finished; plugin support is patchy, and there's no compilation to native code. Due to licensing issues, there is presently no *binary* release (perhaps that's what you meant), and I don't know the status of that. Hopefully there will be one ``real soon'', but in the mean time, it is necessary to install a Linux port to bootstrap the installation.
