hi, during install my system apparently hangs forever. i've only waited 30 mins, which is damn long enough for a athlon xp 1633mhz, ddr 300 system. on installation: "Probing devices, please wait (this may take a while)..." the first stage of install after kernel configuration. And i cant get past that. motherboard: EPOX 8K7A+ cpu: athlon xp 1.63ghz ram: corsair xms2400 256mb x2 scsi_controller: adaptec 29160N hard_disk(scsi): seagate cheetah X15, 15000rpm (ST318451LW) hard_disk(ide): maxtor 91531U3 cd_rom(ide): plextor PX-W1610A dvd_rom(ide): pioneer DVD-106 graphics(agp): nvidia geforce 3 sound: sb live! platinum 5.1 modem: 3com/USR 56k Performance Pro monitor: sony cpd-g520 mouse(usb): microsoft intellimouse explorer usb gamepad(usb): sidewinder freestyle pro us kbd(ps2): acer egornomic please help! it just wont go past this. and i have no idea what to do. i thought this new 4.5 edition had a gui installational.grr.
