Unfortunately, I'd rather not upgrade the machine at this point in time if I can avoid it... So, I will try to implement Bruce's suggestion to OR SWI_NET_MASK into SW_TTY_MASK in machine/spl.h to see if that solves the problem. Thanks guys, I'll let you know how well that works out.
