 * I thought about that - devel/ seemed more like libraries and the like.
 * this can be used in non-development areas, like checking that machines
 * are working properly/devivering mail/etc.

I actually thought "sysutils!" when I first saw it, but it seems more
like just a general framework for testing/verification, right?

If so, I think misc is fine.
