Anybody familiar with fetchmail? i got serious problems in multidrop-mode with mailinglist-mails. well, i know these problems are known. i know there is a whlole section about it in the man page. but still, i couldn't make it work. the scenario is: i'm retreiving mails for the domain goelz.com from our provider's mail server via pop3. the multidrop-mail-delivery works fine, e.g. mails to kherrmann@goelz.com do reach me. even BCCed mails seem to work. but still, mail sent to mailing lists will not find its way to the envelope-recipient. they'll end up in the postmasters account. my config file looks like this: ---------------------------------- defaults proto pop3 nokeep fetchall set no bouncemail set daemon 900 poll mymailhost localdomains goelz.com: envelope 1 received user xxxxxx has password xxxxxx to * here ---------------------------------- looking at mailing list emails, the 2nd envelope header contains the real xx@goelz.com address. but still envelope 1 received doesn't work. is it possible that i can't use multidrop together with localdomains? if so: if i remove it, no mail is delivered at all. what to do instead? if not: any idea what could help? i'm sorry but pop3 seems to be pretty much everything we can do, ETRN won't be possible. please help! thanks in advance! regards, Klaus -- Klaus Herrmann Gölz & Schwarz GmbH Waltherstr. 29 80337 München kherrmann@goelz.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
