Freezes box solid, requires reboot. Box is freshly installed. Sometimes display the following before lockups:

fxp0: SCB timeout
fxp0: device timeout
(keeps repeating)

Connected to another box by a crossed ethernet cable. Media type/options are auto,
10baseT/UTP and full-duplex.
