Don't know if this is a know issue. Hopefully this is the right place I am running 8.0 stable. I have two zpools 1. 4 250G drives (version 13) (Sil3124 SATA) 2. 4 500G drives (version 14) (Sil3114 SATA) I am copying data from 1 -> 2 running rsync for 1-8 hours, I get a kernel panic. Basically it fails an assertion somewhere. Next time it happens, I will get exact details of where the assertion is. I am also trying to make sure I get an actual kernel dump, if that is useful. What other information, investigation, etc would be useful? How should I proceed? Nicholas
