They would have a very big overlap, and it will not be possible to install =

both at the same time (at least not without major surgery).  All ports would
need to depend on the legacy slave port anyway so it doesn't give us anythi=

Then it is, in my opinion, better to just skip the option and always enable=
 the
legacy protocol headers.  I can re-roll the patch with this change tonight.
