I am examining a server configuration for file storage for approximately
1000 simultaneous CIFS clients, and would appreciate any opinions on
the server hardware I am considering for FreeBSD/Samba...

 - Supermicro X5DP8 motherboard, with 2 x 3.06Gz Xeon
 - Adaptec 2010S Zero Channel U320 RAID
 - 7 x Seagate 3146807 146G SCA SCSI
 - Supermicro chassis

Or...

 - iNet2325 system from www.freebsdsystems.com
     http://www.freebsdsystems.com/servers_2325.html
   with MegaRAID Ultra320-2 dual channel

Thanks
