The way I read that, it IS referring to the npx0 device.  The only reason 
I didn't run into this problem is that I have a 486, so I didn't comment 
npx0 out.  If npx0 is mandatory, then I would say that the handbook is 
WRONG, not merely confusing.  That paragraph needs to be fixed.
