Hello,

We want a 192.168.x.x network to interface to the internet, via a local ISP,
and have been advised that SOCKS is a way to do it.

This lesser server wants home pages and WFS pages to be seen by all and
sundry, as well as being able to allow its users (6) to 'get out there 'n surf'.

I want someone to confirm that this is a good way to go, and to point us at
a site we can get our SOCKS from. I understand that applications running on
the local net have to be SOCKS-compliant. We are using Netscape, WSFTP and
Trumpet.
