I recently had to add some extra speeds to the sio driver to support
a PCI multiport serial card that runs 8 times faster than the software.
ie to use 115200 bps the software must be set to 14400 which is not one
of the available speeds in the sio driver.

So after adding the extra lines to /sys/isa/sio.c and /sys/i386/isa/sio.c
and building new kernel, I got curious as to why there are 2 different sio.c
files.

Can anyone explain to me what the difference is between these 2 files?
are they both used?

TIA
