I am trying to install FreeBSD 2.1 on an "IBM PC 750-P90". It as an ISA-PCI machine with an Adaptec 2940 and an S3 video card. There is currently no ethernet adapter and there is a token ring adapter sitting in the machine but that shouldn't affect anything should it? When booting, there is basically nothing found beyond the usual sios, lpt and fds. In particular, ahc1 is "Not found". The boot continues until npx0 and then hangs, which I assume is related to the same problem. Any suggestions as to what I can try? Thanks -Steve
