Does anyone know the location of a good web reference explaining
what a shared object is, how to build one, and how to use one?
I have so far success locating a symbol in a shared object, but no
clue how to call the function represented by that symbol. (function name).

THE LESSER-KNOWN PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES #12 -- LITHP

This otherwise unremarkable language is distinguished by the absence of
an "S" in its character set; users must substitute "TH".  LITHP is said
to be useful in protheththing lithtth.
