This is where I keep getting stuck as well. As near as I can tell, it's all in the suexec (fpexec?) binary, but even bringing those over from another port doesn't yeild a workable configuration. The workaround for this, is to just let the web user own all the webs. Not ideal, but it will work. I still wish all the folks who've done an apache port would get together and make a SINGLE apache port, which might be put together something like the PHP port, where you get a menu for all the bells and whistles you want (ssl, fp, ipv6, mod_*, etc...).
