Since then I encounter 'device not configured' errors from mount and burncd of my /dev/acd0c. Interestingly mount works if I specify /dev/acd0a! I have a burn-proof cd r/w which worked ok until today. When I boot my older generic kernel I can successfully mount /dev/acd0c. The drive is secondary master running in pio-mode 4. There is nothing special in my kernel config file.
