This is a known item. It appeared with xorg-7.4 because certain functionality has been added to the Xorg libraries but not (yet) to the server. In all other cases where this has appeared, it has been eventually disgnosed as "annoying but harmless". Unless hard evidence to the contrary appears, look for problem elsewhere.
