Sender: owner-hackers@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk I've got one of these EtherLink XL 3C900 ethernet adapters, I'm running the 961014 snapshot, I've hacked the vx driver that came with the snapshot so it recognizes the 3C900 card, and I've reached the point where I can ping, telnet etc. Now for my problem: If I attempt to `get' a large file using ftp, nothing transfers -- the connection just seems to hang! But I can still ping and so on from other windows! I simply haven't been able to ftp a binary file! I assume the 961014 snapshot's vx driver is somewhat buggy, and I thought I saw some messages recently about someone working on a replacement driver. Is that at a point where I can try it out? I'd love to help alpha or beta test the thing! Can anyone help me out??? tim
