Right, most System Vs I know with this method call it /stand. But that name is taken :-) On Tandem, the boot file system is (wait for it) bfs. It's the most stupid file system I've seen yet, but it makes it easier for the bootstrap to find the kernel. > Speaking of HP, their LVM system is cool.
