The ed driver didn't like it?

I've had the Intel ISA cards work once, back in the 2.1.5 days, until I
forced the owner to change to an NE2000 so tcpdump would work.  I don't
think that card has worked since.  I suggest finding a fully generic
NE2000. :-)
