However... for future reference if you have to use NO_CHECKSUM then something is going very wrong. For example, you should get the following output from: [crees@pegasus]~% tar tvf `make -C /usr/ports/security/maia -V DISTDIR`/maia-1.0.3-r1575.tar.gz | head drwxr-xr-x 0 ek ek 0 Aug 19 2011 maia-1.0-r1575/ -rw-r--r-- 0 ek ek 394 Aug 19 2011 maia-1.0-r1575/clamav.cf -rwxr-xr-x 0 ek ek 853 Aug 19 2011 maia-1.0-r1575/Rakefile -rw-r--r-- 0 ek ek 971 Aug 19 2011 maia-1.0-r1575/msrbl.cf -rw-r--r-- 0 ek ek 1370 Aug 19 2011 maia-1.0-r1575/README drwxr-xr-x 0 ek ek 0 Aug 19 2011 maia-1.0-r1575/reference/ -rwxr-xr-x 0 ek ek 447 Aug 19 2011 maia-1.0-r1575/rake_config.rb.dist -rwxr-xr-x 0 ek ek 714190 Aug 19 2011 maia-1.0-r1575/maiad -rw-r--r-- 0 ek ek 3020 Aug 19 2011 maia-1.0-r1575/LICENSE drwxr-xr-x 0 ek ek 0 Aug 19 2011 maia-1.0-r1575/php/ If you don't, it means your distfile is incorrect, and this is not a minor issue! You could have had your DNS hacked, Janky Jay could have poisoned the distfile with the intent to cause harm etc etc (not suggesting he has ;) ), but distinfos are here to protect us and check everything is right. I'll stop banging on about it, since you've fixed your problem. Great to hear you're OK! Chris
