Apparently, it does recognize it (dmesg), but any attempt to access the drive through mt -f /dev/rft0 (or simply cat /dev/rft0) results in an error. It is a "floppy tape" which works fine in Win95, so the hardware is fine. In my kernel conf file, I have "tape ft0 drive 2." (Drive 1 didn't work, it just checked my floppy twice. Any help would be appreciated. Is there something I'm missing or am I just out of luck? Thanks, - drifter
