Most useful is to testing this rules, and depend of your traffic, u can change settings.I think that is good to eliminate delay options from pipe. For queue u can test different value. Man page explain very well. If u have too large queue size, then delay can grow for traffic. Second question: The latest release on the 5-STABLE branch is 5.4-RELEASE. Release version is for testing new options. This i think respond to your problem.
