The benefit of a setuid artswrapper is basically that you will get decent=20 audio playback even when your machine does more than light i/o (for example= =20 untaring a distfile while building a port). I won't revert this to the previous off by default because almost all users= of=20 KDE have "run with highest possible priority" set in the soundsystem option= s=20 and "Why is music still skipping while I build a port?" is a FAQ. =2D-=20 ,_, | Michael Nottebrock | lofi@freebsd.org (/^ ^\) | FreeBSD - The Power to Serve | http://www.freebsd.org \u/ | K Desktop Environment on FreeBSD | http://freebsd.kde.org --Boundary-02=_tHERAUPW/n9lkRF Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Description: signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBAREHtXhc68WspdLARAkRGAJ4z7LMmOMOM8+kE4/q33zgXG2ExnQCeIafk AOU80dOpjLqq+4mRRWI9o4E= =iOt4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Boundary-02=_tHERAUPW/n9lkRF--
