So basically, you want to customize your port builds so that they fetch SourceForge stuff from your local mirror instead of SF itself? This has always been possible by setting a MASTER_SITE_SOURCEFORGE variable prior to making 'fetch'; you can do this in your /etc/make.conf for SOURCEFORGE, too, just like any of the other MASTER_SITE_* variables.
