Ok, this is getting weird.

Yesterday I reproduced the problem.
To-day I did what I thought was exactly the
same thing to reproduce the problem and..
it doesn't reproduce (ie the IPv6 export
works fine).

I am wondering if it something like part of
the IPv6 address doesn't get filled in and
matches or not depending on the non-filled in
part. (I'll look to see if I can spot something
that needs to be zeroed out in the address.)
