I was almost home. :) There are two ways doing a reboot that are know to me: 1) Hit CRTL-ALT-DEL if you configured your kernel to allow it. 2) Try sudo (alternatie try calife, op or super They are all under ports/security - but i never tried them before). It is in the ports. (/usr/ports/security/sudo .. and as package on the release cd) And configure the group WHEEL that they can do everything root can do.
