Doug Rabson is the person responsible for the agp miniport driver currently in FreeBSD and I believe he is also a programmer working on the Direct Rendering Infrastructure over at Sourceforge. Basically what should require work is probably the detection of your [Nvidia] cards and its subsequent support in DRI.
