Let's try to sum up in another way my thoughts: with the current change (s/X11R6/local/ path) some instructions provided in the Handbook will not work for people using something else than recent packages or ports. These people exist we can't ignore them, so we have to tell them that the path changed or is different for the previous versions of Xorg. -- Marc
