Hello ! Our main web cache server hangs with message: Jun 10 02:02:50 vanaema /kernel: ncr0: SCSI phase error fixup: CCB already dequeued (0xf07d2400) Jun 10 02:03:05 vanaema /kernel: ncr0: timeout ccb=f07d2800 (skip) Jun 10 02:03:14 vanaema /kernel: ncr0: timeout ccb=f07d2400 (skip) This is a 2.2.5-RELEASE machine, worked over a month without a hitch. I'm seeing messages like that over a week now without crash, but ... What these messages mean and what I can do to avoid further confusion ? Maybe crash was caused by high ambient temperature inside server room, approx. 30 degree Celsius ? This machine runs two EIDE drives and two 7200 rpm Quantum Viking drives and I know these runs hot. There are no additional coolers and I think temperature inside machine is too high, but who knows ?? Anyway, some suggestions and comments are welcome.
