I'd typically use the First+Last name for attribution when they are available, or omit the attribution in the commit log when submitter did not provide one, but only an email. Some people list the email, sometimes mangled e.g. @ -> (at), but in any case, single words are reserved for project members, it just looks confusing otherwise. ./danfe
