The intel driver is not installed; the modesetting driver is used. The only problem with this update is that mesa still has a build dependency= on Python 2.7. (see mesa-dri/Makefile.common). So, in mesa-dri/Makefile.common I changed "python:2.7,build" to "python:bui= ld", re-built and re-installed mesa-libs and mesa-dri and it worked fine with Py= thon 3.7.
