This list seems like about the best place. It seems to be that Parallel Port 100 Zip Drives don't work in FreeBSD4.0-RELEASE (also tried -STABLE, with no difference). I'm thinking this should be added to the ERRATA for the 4.0 series. Along with how to fix this problem, when a fix is found. Note: I tried a SCSI Zip 100, and it worked great. Anyway, I'm not subscribed to this list, so cc me any replies.
