As it turns out, it seems that it may be a bug in mountd. I don't have a problem until I export 'two' different directories from the same file system (the ROOT file system). The first one always goes through okay, but the second one fails with the error message I provided you. When I swapped /archives & /usr/local around, it worked fine for /usr/local, but died on /archives... -- Rob === _/_/_/_/_/ _/_/_/_/ _/_/ _/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/_/_/ _/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/_/_/_/ _/ _/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/ Innovative Data Services Serving South-Eastern Michigan Internet Service Provider / Hardware Sales / Consulting Services Voice: (810)855-0404 / Fax: (810)855-3268 / Web: http://www.id.net
