Because zvol snapshot devfs entries are created in the same subdirectory as the zvol entries, then zpool import might prefer a snapshot device over a zvol device, which then would fail. This is, of course, a problem only if you use pools on top of zvols (as I do for hacking purposes). -- Andriy Gapon
