Given the lack of responsiveness of the maintainer in the PR I
mentioned, I guess you can go ahead and do that.

Taking one step back, I would love to have this CPE thing broadly
announced by portmgr -- I see some commits related to this but have no
idea what I am supposed to do (I learned of the wiki page a few hours
ago, but that still doesn't say when and why this became a requirement).
