Yes! I'm running a laptop at home with exactly that card. It's
running FreeBSD 3.2 without the PAO package. I used the following
/etc/pccard.conf config:
card "3Com" "Megahertz 589E"
config 0x1 "ep0" 10
insert echo 3Com Megahertz inserted
insert /etc/pccard_ether $device
remove echo 3Com Megahertz removed
remove /etc/pccard_ether_remove $device
