put an entry in /etc/mail/local-host-names for your ip
address( if that is what you meant by @my_ip_here).
you don't need to modify any .mc file or .cf (see my
previous question..still haven't figured out why even
though the README says you do).

if you are in /etc/mail you can do a "make restart" to
restart sendmail. Also read the Makefile in /etc/mail
for other commands/utilities
