I hope you can help me, please. I setup a 486 with FreeBSD and two ethernet cards as a gateway in order to have acces from my internal network to the internet. My layout is as follows. internet ---> Router ----> Workstation ----> PC with FreeBSD ---> PC's and PC's int. I can ping from one internal PC to both of the ethernet cards in the PC with FreeBSD, I can ping from one internal PC to the workstation and I can ping from one internal PC to another internal PC. I cannot ping from one internal PC to one external PC or to the router or to any other machine outside in the internet. I am using the GATEWAY=YES option in /etc/sysconfig. Is this a problem with static routes that I have to add or something like this? Suppose my external network is something like 206.48.70.0 and my internal network is 192.10.200.0. What would the correct routes have to be in order to be this correct? Thank you in advance. Juan Valenzuela juanv@mail.icreson.gob.mx
