This nic would be used in promiscuous mode and in conjunction with a fiber-tap to monitor the network. (I know I could use media adaptors, but a fiber nic would be one less point of failure, and one less device to connect to power.) There are a few listed on the hardware page, and I have found a few references in the archives, but I only see more 1 GB fiber nics listed then 100 MB. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
